The gold border has a torn edge; symbolic of the brokenness we experience at times in the imperfect world.  The road we travel may be bumpy but God is working to remove the impurities, and make us into pure golden trophies of His grace.

Just how much does God care for me? Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.
Luke 12:7 & 7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

It makes no difference whether you’re feeling sad, afraid, lonely, sorry, ashamed, rejected, unloved, foolish, empty, discouraged, frustrated or even hopeless.  Jesus is there, waiting to help you.  

The hand in this art piece, although in an unseen dimension is in essence both human and divine as shown with earthy green and gold colors.  Jesus catches our tears, He understands human trails because He has been there and done that.  We can and should go to Him and confess any sins; share any pain.   He will forgive; He will comfort.  The Bible states in Hebrews 2: 17 & 18 that Jesus had to be made like His brethren in all things, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest.  

2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
