Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. Rev. 22:14 "In my Father’s house are many dwellings …I go to prepare a place for you…I will come again and receive you to myself that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:2-3 God made us to have fellowship with Him for eternity. Sin separates us from God. The only way to wash our robes clean from sin’s stains is by applying the blood of Jesus Christ shed for our sins on the cross.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
St. John’s vision: Revelation Chapters 21 & 22
The River of Life & The Tree of Life "…he showed me a River of Life clear as crystal …and on either side of the river was the Tree of Life bearing 12 kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month and the leaves were for the healing of the nations." The artist made 39 leaves for the stripes Jesus received: "By His stripes we are healed."
If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:37-38
"... love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." Galatians 5:22: Imagine living forever in perpetual peace, abundant joy and agape love for one another!
The New Jerusalem "The city was pure gold like clear glass. The foundation was adorned with every kind of precious stone…" It is a 1,500-MILE cube with 12 gates, each gate a single pearl. There will be no more night and no need of sun, moon or lamp. "Because the Lord God shall illumine them and they shall reign forever and ever. Nothing unclean shall come into it but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. He shall wipe away every tear and there shall no longer be any death, mourning, crying or pain." As majestic as the heavenly city is, The Lord Jesus Christ, The Lamb of God, The Lion of Judah is her crowning glory. "In your presence is fullness of joy. At your right hand there are pleasures forever." Psalm 16:10,11
